Most interesting Minecraft servers of 2021

Minecraft servers are a long-standing feature of the game.

Even though it is 11 years old, new records are being set for Minecraft multiplayer player count. Hypixel is the first server to surpass the 100,000 player threshold in Minecraft history (as of 2020).

Long-time Minecraft fans will be aware that the Minecraft multiplayer scene is always changing. Servers have become more relevant over the years. This is mostly due to new gamemodes and server designs becoming more popular.

We'll be looking at the top-growing servers in 2021. This will include their IP addresses and why they are so popular.

1) NetherGames

NetherGames, a well-known Minecraft Bedrock Edition server, has seen a lot of growth in recent years.

NetherGames saw huge growth in 2021. They reached player count records that were unmatched by any other Minecraft Bedrock server. It's the only server that offers well-made versions for popular gamemodes such as Murder Mystery, BedWars, and The Bridge.

2) Purple Prison

Purple Prison is still one of the most loved Minecraft prison servers, with thousands of players at peak hours.

Purple Prison has been around since almost 8 years. 2021 was a great year for server with new player count records for the prison genre.

Here, players who are interested in PvP, trading, mining, or even parkour, will have fun. It's a wonderful place to meet new people and enjoy a friendly Discord community of almost 50,000 members.

3) Mineclub

Minecraft social servers are a new phenomenon, as so many people have been stuck in their homes for the past year because of real-life restrictions.

Mineclub is a leader in such servers. It is one of the most well-known Minecraft servers, with over 1,000 players peaking at peak times.

Mineclub is described as a "relaxed, social Minecraft experience". It allows players to interact, hangout, make new friends and just generally have fun. You can also play minigames like capture the flag, duels and tic-tac toe.
